The Base Camp was introduced in 2022 and was designed to be a cost-conscious crawler that can be built for both performance and scale realism. This "Builders Kit" allows you to build the kit yourself and give you a deeper understanding of the mechanics of your kit. Choose your electronics and body and get out to the trails!

Better still, the Base Camp Kit isn't just an unassembled version of the Axial RTR rig. It's an improved Base Camp. The transmission can be externally locked in standard 4WD, but it also has an optional, servo-actuated dig feature. Robust 6mm stainless steel links are included, as well as Standard AR45 straight axles. If you prefer portal axles, the LCXU transmission makes it easy to switch. The Axial SCX10 III Base Camp Builder's Kit give you the perfect foundation for your adventuring
